And just like that, another vibrant Greenmarket season comes to an end!
Join us for Weeksville’s Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 25, from 12 to 5 PM as we celebrate the final Greenmarket of the year with a day filled with fall abundance, creativity, and community.
Shop the abundance of fall produce we’ll have available, take part in workshops on gardening, herbalism, movement, and jewelry-making, and explore a vibrant marketplace of Black-owned businesses offering books, art, and wellness goods, and more!
It is our mission to bring fresh, affordable produce to our neighbors in Crown Heights.Thanks to our partnership with GrowNYC, we have been able to do just that all season. Shoppers will have full access to EBT/SNAP and Health Bucks.

Programming Schedule:
12:30 PM — Group 1: Honey Harvest Workshop with Bee U NYC
Step into the role of a beekeeper and learn how honey moves from hive to jar. Guests will uncap honeycombs, spin out fresh honey, filter it, and bottle their own jar to take home. Along the way, taste different honey varieties, discover their unique flavors, and explore the bee-friendly practices that make sustainable harvesting possible.
1:00 PM — Grow Your Groceries: How to Raise a Continuous Harvest Indoors Workshop with A Room with Roots
Even in season, fresh produce prices are rising—and winter is approaching. What if you could grow crisp, fresh lettuce and greens right inside your home? A Room with Roots will guide you through seed starting, crop succession, and techniques to keep your kitchen stocked while reducing your grocery bill. Participants will take home free seeds, soil, and exclusive discounts. This workshop is perfect for families who want to grow together and anyone looking to maintain a steady supply of fresh produce year-round.
2:00 PM — Beginner Mat Pilates led by Joy Norton
We invite you to join us for a beginner Mat Pilates session at 2pm with Joy Norton, a certified Pilates Instructor bringing 7 years of experience in Mat Pilates and Movement instruction. As a dedicated Nutrition Coach with a decolonized approach to health coaching, Joy takes a holistic approach to wellness, helping you build strength from the inside out.
This pilates class was designed to create empowering, inclusive spaces that honor community traditions and celebrate collective strength. Her work continues to focus on making wellness accessible and meaningful for all bodies. Come find your alignment, strength and power in community. Limited mats available. First come – first served.
2:30 PM — Intro to Spiritual Herbalism Workshop with Black Mermaid Society
Explore the foundational principles of Spiritual Herbalism rooted in African ancestral practices. In the first half of the workshop, learn about the spiritual and medicinal properties of plants, emphasizing how plant medicine can support you through challenging times.
The second half is hands-on and interactive. Participants will create herbal bath salts for both medicinal and spiritual use, and each participant will leave with a jar to take home.
3:00 PM — Group 2: Honey Harvest Workshop with Bee U NYC
Repeat of the 12:30 PM session for a second group. Experience hands-on beekeeping, from uncapping honeycombs to bottling your own jar, while learning sustainable practices and tasting different honey varieties.
3:30 PM — Jewelry-Making Workshop with Jam + Rico
Create bold, colorful jewelry inspired by the vibrant spirit of the Caribbean. Guided by founder Lisette Scott, you’ll craft unique pieces that celebrate culture, confidence, and beauty. Materials and guidance provided for all skill levels.
