Blitz the Ambassador and
the Embassy Ensemble
The Embassy Ensemble is a string ensemble based in New York City. The group recently recorded a live session for MTVU’s House Band series. Blitz The Ambassador is taking hip-hop to places it’s never been before. Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, Blitz the Ambassador grew up to the sounds of Afro-Beat, Highlife, Jazz, and Motown. In NYC, Blitz began to record, Stereotype, a live-instrument-heavy musical exploration, that tests the limits of hip-hop. Now, his label, Embassy MVMT is proving that hip-hop fans are ready for the future. He displays a prowess for musicality that is unmatched, and conducts a live show experience that must be witnessed to understand its extraordinary value.
