  The 4th of July will be celebrated a day late at the Weeksville Heritage Center in Brooklyn. There will be a lecture on Black emancipation in New York at 4 p.m. followed by a performance by BLK JKS, a South African rock band will perform Sunday at 6 p.m.  There’s a suggested donation of $5.
